Mm... Stained glass windows are common in the churches I've visited, but I've never seen them depict creatures like that before. They're quite cute, though, aren't they?

Churches... I can't say I've been to one. [they don't really acknowledge the existence of western anything in canon but hISTORICALLY CHRISTIANITY MADE IT TO CHINA REALLY EARLY ON so i'm choosing to believe she was simply living in an area without many questions.] I've visited temples quite regularly, though. This... feels a little similar, although it looks very different.

Temples... I've heard of those before, as well. I believe they're both places of worship, so the similar feeling may come from that?

That may be the case. There are many gods, after all. I suppose some of them could inhabit churches rather than temples.

Do the gods truly inhabit buildings where you hail from?

Well, I have never seen one, personally, but it is said that temples are where some aspect's of a god's divinity resides on earth, and that is why prayers are best made to them within their halls.

Some gods have sacred animals. Perhaps these are the sacred animals of whichever god this is? ...although I must admit I've never seen them before.

Oh? What a lovely idea. I'd imagine that a god with a sacred animal like this would be quite enjoyable to spend time with. Don't you think so?

They would probably not be a very intimidating god, that much is true. Perhaps more of a benevolent one.

I find myself partial to benevolent gods, so that would be wonderful news. I do think benevolence suits Heaven better than intimidation, in any case.

I think so as well, and yet, there is no shortage of vengeful gods in the stories.

Is that so? We don't have very many... Not that I'm aware of, at least.

What gods are you accustomed to hearing about?

Most are rather indifferent, to be honest... But many are benevolent and kind, and willing to reach out to help humans in their worse and most trying of predicaments.

Have you ever met anyone who has been helped by a god directly? Or is it something that one only hears about in stories?

Of course, yes; I've been helped directly, myself. [SAID WITH A LIL NOD LIKE YEAH surely that's normal everywhere.] Is that not the case for you...?

My mother and I have prayed at temples before, and things have seemed to improve afterwards in subtle ways, but... I've never seen a god directly intercede firsthand.

Ah, well, the gods themselves don't exactly have physical manifestations, if that's what you mean... Or rather, as I know them. That may be different for others here. The improvements are still a sign that they exist and are keeping an eye on you, even so.

They must have many things to pay attention to. They are gods, after all.

A truly benevolent god should have the time and mind to care for all who seek refuge...
