[rng gave me the church and that's a little on the nose but it's also funny so here we are.
which is to say, waner, after finding some actual clothes, is exploring. she makes it into the church to be thorough and is immediately distracted by the stained glass windows depicting axolotls.]
[THE CHURCH IT IS Lucas spends so much time here anyway, my god. Church home. Also she is so cutely dressed... Lucas is also back in his usual clothes, looking right at home in the damn church.
He's peering up at the axolotl windows too, though...]
Mm... Stained glass windows are common in the churches I've visited, but I've never seen them depict creatures like that before. They're quite cute, though, aren't they?
Churches... I can't say I've been to one. [they don't really acknowledge the existence of western anything in canon but hISTORICALLY CHRISTIANITY MADE IT TO CHINA REALLY EARLY ON so i'm choosing to believe she was simply living in an area without many questions.] I've visited temples quite regularly, though. This... feels a little similar, although it looks very different.
[IT'S TIME TO GO EXPLORING... Lucas is currently at the mouth of the cave, peering inside like he wants to go take a lil stroll. He'll wave whenever he spots Su Waner, though, bright as ever. NOT ME JUST NOW SEEING YOU BE LIKE IM STILL KIND OF SCARED OF LUCAS HELP
ANYWAY.]
Good afternoon, my dear! Isn't this place just lovely?
once it's over and they leave the church, waner just heads straight for the garden in the park instead. who cares if it's late? she needs some fresh air. and maybe a walk among the flowers will help her get her head on straight again.
she nods when she hears the footsteps of someone approaching, though. hello.]
[But he will join her! And then, since she ended up kind of accidentally in the middle of all of that:] ...Are you holding up? Is there anything that I can do for you?
Lucas is less dissociated and more larping normie mode again! Just seated at the cafe and sipping at a drinky, looking off toward nothing in particular. Less dissociated doesn't mean fully, he is always slightly dissociated, but this is fine. He does not at all remember who gave him all the towels as he passed by or he'd thank her for it in this moment...
anyway, she just sits down across from him at the cafe without even asking first, which is maybe odd for a normie to do with someone who literally just murdered three people in a single night, but what's the worst that can happen? he kills her too? she already knows people come back from the dead here and she doesn't even have any powers to lose.]
Sir Lucas. ...you've had some time to settle in, I see?

Temples... I've heard of those before, as well. I believe they're both places of worship, so the similar feeling may come from that?

The scenery is nice enough... ah, but do you plan to go in?
no subject
Her wariness is so valid though. He should get more of that himself.]
Of course! Every other place has been so pleasant, I'm sure these will be just as fun to explore. Would you like to take a look together?
[He hasn't been to the kindergarten yet...]

...I suppose since this is heaven, it can't... actually be dangerous, can it?

But this is fine, he doesn't think there's anything weird with this because he would definitely not go on a three people murder spree again!]
I have, yes. [A little nod.] This place is fairly easy to get a good sense of... Though larger than I anticipated.
no subject
It helps that many of the locations are similar to the ones where we were before, I suppose. With a few changes.
no subject
But he just nods at that.]
So I've noticed. ...In any case - have you settled here well...?
