Should be able to adjust the timing, at least? So maybe go back a day and thwart the murder plan? That's pretty much what we're doin', anyway. Goin' back to the night before I died and takin' advantage of what we know to get the element of surprise on our side this time.
I fell ill after a large meal. There were all sorts of dishes... I was the only one who was poisoned, but all of the dishes I ate were the same dishes others ate. I'm not certain how they did it.
That would buy me one day's worth of time. But if they tried again after it didn't succeed... I wouldn't know what to watch out for after that night.
