I don't believe that speaking poorly of them will put your chance of redemption at risk, my dear. In spite of the glaring flaws with the protocol we've seen today, they do still seem to be otherwise rather reasonable by the sound of it.

I do keep trying to remind myself of that. That theorizing baselessly will just lead to more confusion and anxiety than necessary, but it's so easy to let the mind wander in situations like this.
